Kauan Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kauan Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Quiniporo EC's goalkeeper Silas Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Guilherme de Sousa. Breno Miranda scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silas Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Narciso Esteves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cícero Camargo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. If Luiz Guilherme de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cícero Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cícero Camargo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Quiniporo EC's Kauan Secco. But to his dismay, Kauan Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Breno Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Silas Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Breno Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Miranda couldn't finish the play. Luiz Guilherme de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silas Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Cícero Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Secco in the 39th minute of play. If Kauan Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breno Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Flamengo's Luiz Guilherme de Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silas Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cícero Camargo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Narciso Esteves sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Breno Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silas Vale. Quiniporo EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Breno Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breno Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Breno Miranda. Silas Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breno Miranda went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Gomes hit a great ball. Narciso Esteves struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cícero Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quiniporo EC. Silas Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Miranda in the 74th minute of play. Breno Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes, Custódio Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quiniporo EC and the Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Quiniporo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Custódio Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Luiz Guilherme de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silas Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Quiniporo EC got a freekick which was hit by Custódio Mendes. Cícero Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Esteves in the 91st minute of play. Quiniporo EC's Silas Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Miranda in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quiniporo EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flamengo.
