Gao Qian Xiao made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Olavo Santana sent off a good shot on target. Gao Qian Xiao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olavo Santana in the 28th minute. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Olavo Santana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gao Qian Xiao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Szostak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sporting Clube de Peruibe had played much better football throughout.
