Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cesinha Batista made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Prestes in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Sergipano got free with Rafa Guedes in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Douglas Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Guedes having to interfere. Ameixas's Ramón Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Batista in the 18th minute of play. Cesinha Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Domingues having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, Cassiano's Cesinha Batista made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramón Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo de Azevedo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ameixas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Edmundo de Azevedo hit a great ball. Cesinha Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 41 in the game by Douglas Sergipano from a close distance when the talented Rafa Guedes managed to make a qualified save. Cassiano's players were relieved. The supporters of Cassiano booed when Ameixas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafa Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Cesinha Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Acácio Prestes to make the kick off. Norberto Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Cesinha Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cassiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Douglas Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ameixas's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafa Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Acácio Prestes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 65th minute Acácio Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Douglas Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Guedes having to interfere. Acácio Prestes scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafa Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Douglas Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Guedes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Sergipano in the 93rd minute of play forced Cassiano's goalkeeper Rafa Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ameixas getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tião Araújo hit a great ball. The Ameixas players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
