Fausto Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime do Nascimento in the 4th minute of play. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cacá Motta sped through Miguelopolis AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fausto Vianna. Fausto Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime do Nascimento in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Gilberto Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Gustavo Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Percos SS's Jaime do Nascimento, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Percos SS. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Cacá Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Percos SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Vianna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime do Nascimento went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Miguelopolis AD's Válter Arósio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Fausto Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Jaime do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Percos SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Naldo Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Vianna came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Percos SS's Cacá Motta. But to his dismay, Cacá Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jorge Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Vianna having to interfere. Percos SS's Jairo Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime do Nascimento took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Vianna. Fausto Vianna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime do Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Percos SS's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton de Azevedo came free, but Naldo Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, Miguelopolis AD's Jorge Moraes made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Naldo Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Palmeira in the 58th minute of play. Naldo Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton de Azevedo in the 60th minute of play. Percos SS's Naldo Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton de Azevedo in the 61st minute of play. If Cacá Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime do Nascimento in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Moraes in the 92nd minute of play forced Percos SS's goalkeeper Naldo Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percos SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
