Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mané Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Evandro Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedé Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Aguilera went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dedé Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Aguilera in the 11th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme de Alcântara hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Severino Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Luisito Aguilera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dedé Urbano. The goal made the score 2-0. Evandro Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Freitas in the 23rd minute of the match. Dedé Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guaramirim EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaramirim EC's goalkeeper Dedé Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Carvalhos's Kauan Vasconcelos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Carvalhos's Luisinho Paes got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luisito Aguilera struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dedé Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carvalhos. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Aguilera in the 52nd minute of play forced Guaramirim EC's goalkeeper Dedé Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Carvalhos got a corner. Guaramirim EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodrigo Melo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Luisito Aguilera drilling the ball in to score 6-0 behind Guaramirim EC's goalkeeper. In the 58th minute of the match Rodrigo Melo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedé Urbano skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Aguilera in the 59th minute of play forced Guaramirim EC's goalkeeper Dedé Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Joélson Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaramirim EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carvalhos the free kick. A collision led to Guaramirim EC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Joélson Pitta hit a great ball. Carvalhos's Rodrigo Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Aguilera in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Urbano saved Guaramirim EC from getting behind. Dedé Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Aguilera went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Evandro Paulista acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joélson Pitta. If Denílson Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Luisito Aguilera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carvalhos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. When the referee ended the match the Carvalhos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
