When Ernesto Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cagavoando's protests and gave Ernesto Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Cagavoando got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Baptista. Patrick Bueno came out of the goal and Diamantino Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cagavoando's Diamantino Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cagavoando's Artur Amorim got control of the ball when Erasmo Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Amorim made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Erasmo Lira sent off a good shot on target. Artur Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Patrick Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Bueno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vivaldo Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 94 minute of play. Tambaqui's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
