When Arí Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parurus's protests and gave Arí Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of VITÓRIA booed when Parurus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arí Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nando Romero made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Guto Quirino sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Arí Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Seco was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Dracena in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Seco saved VITÓRIA from getting behind. If Renato Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Parurus a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arí Abraão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VITÓRIA's Adriano Seco. 0-1. In the 39th match minute, Parurus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Renato Abraão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half Parurus were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Renato Abraão got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 54th minute, Parurus's Arí Abraão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adriano Seco. Adriano Seco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After 64 played minutes Renato Abraão rounded VITÓRIA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Adriano Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Abraão in the 72nd minute of the match. If Arí Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, Parurus's Renato Abraão made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Renato Abraão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adriano Seco. The goal made the score 0-9. With his leg Adriano Seco managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Parurus's Vicente Dracena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Parurus's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
