Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edu Carvalho kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durvalino Cavalcante during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valentes FC booed when Apinage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentes FC's Genílson Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arthur Peixoto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. If Edu Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Peixoto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edu Carvalho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. After some careless play in the Apinage defense, Genílson Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Mazza. The Apinage fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Mazza should have stopped the shot. Ismael Mazza came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Valentes FC's Genílson Saldanha. But to his dismay, Genílson Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The Apinage fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Apinage's Edu Carvalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arthur Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edu Carvalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Arthur Peixoto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 33 minutes, Edu Carvalho made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Valentes FC's Arthur Peixoto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edu Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Arthur Peixoto made a huge save. Edu Carvalho let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 39th minute shot 5-2 at rihgt post. Edu Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Peixoto having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Gonçalo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apinage's Donatello Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Valentes FC's Arthur Peixoto got control of the ball when Edu Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-2.

Apinage's Caio Santana was substituted for Pedrinho Nascimento. Arthur Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donatello Torres in the 57th minute of play. Arthur Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. If Edu Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donatello Torres went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. After 71 minutes, Joaquim do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valentes FC and the Apinage players grew even worse after the yellow card. After taking down the ball on Apinage's corner Luís Fábio Goiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arthur Peixoto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 77th match minute, Valentes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Peixoto came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Apinage's Edu Carvalho. But to his dismay, Edu Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Genílson Saldanha hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Edu Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Peixoto was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Carvalho in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Apinage's Edu Carvalho in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valentes FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 89 minutes of play, Apinage's Edu Carvalho made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, Apinage's Edu Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-2. Apinage walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
