Rubens Lago hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Recreativo S.C's zone, Dé Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Almeida came out of the goal and Dé Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubens Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Dé Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinícius Billy kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes in the game Emil Melin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jean Trigo. Jaroslaw Jankowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ghitã Colesnic charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ghitã Colesnic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 22 minutes into the game, one of Winchester FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jorge Netto struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Henrique Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recreativo S.C. A collision led to Winchester FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Daniel Andrade hit a great ball. Miguel Almeida made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Dé Viana sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Almeida having to interfere. Jean Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Viana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Miguel Almeida when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Recreativo S.C's Miguel Almeida got control of the ball when Jean Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Dé Viana came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Winchester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Viana couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dé Viana made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Dé Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Recreativo S.C's Miguel Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sidnei Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Sidnei Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recreativo S.C and the Winchester FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Recreativo S.C getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sidnei Marinho hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Recreativo S.C's zone, Róbson Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Almeida came out of the goal and Róbson Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Netto got free with Henrique Salles in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rubens Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jorge Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Henrique Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Edu Toscano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Recreativo S.C's Miguel Almeida. Miguel Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Nilson Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Viana in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro Campidelis charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Campidelis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Winchester FC made a substitution. Antônio Mesquita replaced Daniel Andrade. After 85 played minutes Recreativo S.C got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Campidelis. Miguel Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Trigo went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Oscar Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96thth minute of the game Dé Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Recreativo S.C's Miguel Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Winchester FC were the better team. Winchester FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
