After some careless play in the Imperial FC defense, Gilson Vinhas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulisses Torres. The Imperial FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses Torres should have stopped the shot. In the 31st match minute, Coceira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Coceira FC's goalkeeper Raí Alagoano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheus Paiva. Ulisses Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Vinhas in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Orlando Souza put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ulisses Torres. When Elder Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coceira FC's protests and gave Elder Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Coceira FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Elder Tepedino hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Coceira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Ulisses Torres made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Rui de Barros sent off a good shot on target. João Pedro Favoretto got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 65th minute, João Pedro Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Gilson Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Rui de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ulisses Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulisses Torres didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-6.
