In the 38th minute, Sílvio Luís Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Cerrito EC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by João Francisco de Castro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of O VideoJogador ST's Dagoberto Queiroz. 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arí de Mendonça to make the kick off. With a little luck, O VideoJogador ST's Dagoberto Queiroz got control of the ball when Décio Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line.
