Toco Preto EC's Carlos Alberto Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Toco Preto EC from getting a goal against them. In the 27thth minute of the game Sílvio Luís Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toco Preto EC's Carlos Alberto Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Araguacu AD's goalkeeper Guga de Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Sílvio Luís Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araguacu AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luís Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Baltazar Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toco Preto EC's Silas Fantini couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Araguacu AD. Deivid Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guga de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Araguacu AD's Oscar Correia got a free kick in the 82nd minute.
