Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Régis Sampaio got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Baraunas SS's Edgar Duarte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kjell Hedvall. Kjell Hedvall yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kjell Hedvall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Duarte in the 8th minute. Baraunas SS's Edgar Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Lucas Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjell Hedvall was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgar Duarte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Edgar Duarte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kjell Hedvall, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Baraunas SS booed when Paraguacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Baraunas SS's Edgar Duarte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kjell Hedvall. Kjell Hedvall yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Paraguacu's Kjell Hedvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguacu from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Baraunas SS booed when Paraguacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Duarte got free with Kjell Hedvall in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Paraguacu getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maurinho Martins hit a great ball. Kjell Hedvall made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Edgar Duarte sent off a good shot on target. Célio Almeida's late challenge caught a Paraguacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célio Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Baraunas SS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Célio Almeida hit a great ball. Paraguacu's Kjell Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Duarte in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Kjell Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Duarte in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edgar Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell Hedvall was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Edgar Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Hedvall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Duarte in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell Hedvall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paraguacu's Kjell Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Duarte in the 68th minute of play. When Baraunas SS's Edgar Duarte in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguacu's goalie prevented a goal. Kjell Hedvall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Duarte's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Edgar Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Hedvall. Paraguacu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Edgar Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kjell Hedvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Koehler in the 83rd minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Tadeu Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguacu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baraunas SS the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Paraguacu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Baraunas SS:s goal. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Baraunas SS. Tales Barros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kjell Hedvall. 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Baraunas SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
