Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luan Palmeira kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes Floripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Aparecido. Serrota EC's Magno do Vale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Floripa FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Oséias Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floripa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Floripa FC's Luan Palmeira in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Floripa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serrota EC the free kick. Betão Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Haroldo Moura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orlando Capixaba. Floripa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Rosado in the 30th minute of play forced Serrota EC's goalkeeper Kléber de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Serrota EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Silva to maneuver through the defense. When Egídio Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Floripa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egídio Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Zézinho da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Orlando Capixaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serrota EC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armindo Novaes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luiz Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th match minute, Floripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Magno do Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Capixaba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Serrota EC's Magno do Vale tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 64thth minute of the game Armindo Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floripa FC's Orlando Capixaba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zézinho da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Orlando Capixaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serrota EC. In the 69th minute, Armindo Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlando Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Novaes took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Capixaba. Orlando Capixaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
