Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Acácio da Silveira made the kick off and thus started the match. Ypiranga's Egídio Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Alagoano in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Alagoano in the 8th minute of play forced Ypiranga's goalkeeper Egídio Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vellito Betancur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Matheus Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sangnarios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Egídio Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acácio da Silveira's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Acácio da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Reis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ypiranga's Geovani Tande got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Ypiranga's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Couto came free, but Egídio Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Jerônimo Moreno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Diego Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Acácio da Silveira in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Reis saved Ypiranga from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Egídio Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sandrinho Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Sangnarios were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson de Godoy made a kick off. Zézinho Couto scored 0-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egídio Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Egídio Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio da Silveira in the 56th minute of play. Acácio da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Egídio Reis made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sangnarios's Luiz Fábio Antunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egídio Reis. That made the score 0-5 after 62 minutes of play. Geovani Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sandrinho Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acácio da Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egídio Reis having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, one of Ypiranga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ypiranga. Egídio Reis went to the wrong direction when Acácio da Silveira was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Acácio da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Egídio Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangnarios. In the 88th minute Zézinho Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Egídio Reis managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Sangnarios's Acácio da Silveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vellito Betancur took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egídio Reis. Egídio Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Sangnarios's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
