After 23 minutes, Emílio de Brito made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Urycuca EC's Luiz Eduardo Quaresma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roca were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Urycuca EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnaldo Rocha took the corner. Yuri Baiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Eduardo Quaresma. Urycuca EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Arnaldo Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Roca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Rocha couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute Emílio de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Quaresma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Rocha in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Quaresma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee gave Roca a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arnaldo Rocha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Urycuca EC's Luiz Eduardo Quaresma. 5-2. André Luiz Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Emílio de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emílio de Brito in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Quaresma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Roca fully deserved thier win.
