Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedé Machado in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio do Vale didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Gustavo Sena was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Dedé Machado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Soares made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Francisco Guimarães in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inácio do Vale saved Marvao EC from getting behind. 53 minutes into the game, João Francisco Guimarães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Inácio do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nilson Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Gustavo Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Soares in the 96th minute of the match. Geman E.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marvao EC for a fine match.
