Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Erik Ortiz made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th minute, Erik Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maicon Bastos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Erik Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Diguinho Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Areal's Beto Proença got a free kick in the 14th minute. Maicon Bastos's late challenge caught a Silencio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maicon Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Diguinho Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silencio. Afonsinho Rocha succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Diguinho Queiroz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 29 minutes, Erik Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silencio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Queiroz having to interfere. Maicon Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diguinho Queiroz came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Silencio's Erik Ortiz. But to his dismay, Erik Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Afonsinho Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Diguinho Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Silencio's Erik Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diguinho Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Afonsinho Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Queiroz having to interfere. Erik Ortiz took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diguinho Queiroz. Diguinho Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Diguinho Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Areal's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Ortiz came free, but Diguinho Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Valle scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diguinho Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Areal booed when Silencio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Rocha in the 80th minute of play forced Areal's goalkeeper Diguinho Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Areal's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Valle came free, but Diguinho Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Afonsinho Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diguinho Queiroz was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Diguinho Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erik Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Silencio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Koehler hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Afonsinho Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silencio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
