Spectators: 5064 (Terracing: 4050, Seating: 1010, VIP seats: 4) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Percival Carioca kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Davi Mello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Machado, 1-0. Gustavo Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Lopes in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Davi Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabajara's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Conventos SC's goalkeeper Gustavo Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Lopes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percival Carioca in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Luiz do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Roberto Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Luiz do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Percival Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Zé Roberto Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, André Luiz do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Zé Roberto Loureiro. Tabajara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Conventos SC's Edu Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percival Carioca in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Roberto Loureiro saved Tabajara from getting behind. Edu Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo da Silva hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Conventos SC booed when Tabajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Edu Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 46 minutes into the match, Conventos SC's Percival Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Roberto Loureiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davi Mello to make the kick off. In the 54th play minute Edu Vianna came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zé Roberto Loureiro. 1-3. Marcelo da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Percival Carioca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Roberto Loureiro. That made the score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. Gustavo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Lopes in the 63rd minute of the match. Tabajara's Edgar Lopes suffered a concussion after 66 minutes and had to leave the field. After 66 minutes, Emerson Peres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conventos SC and the Tabajara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Conventos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Peres to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Davi Mello in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Marcelo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Conventos SC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. André Luiz do Valle hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Freire hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jeferson Romero's late challenge caught a Tabajara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeferson Romero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Jeferson Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Paulo Loyola took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Machado. Gustavo Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 86th match minute, Conventos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Percival Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Roberto Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Percival Carioca sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Conventos SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tabajara.
