Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tainhas SC's Luiz Paulo Vale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Luiz Paulo Vale fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Luiz Paulo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinei Zanette didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Paulo Pontes went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Zé Roberto Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Zanette having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tainhas SC's zone, Zé Paulo Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Zanette came out of the goal and Zé Paulo Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 minutes, Tião Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zororo and the Tainhas SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Tião Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Zé Paulo Pontes put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dinei Zanette. Zé Paulo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dinei Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Zororo got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Hames. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Paulo Vale in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romário Pimenta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romário Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Amaral in the 36th minute of play. Zororo's Romário Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Amaral in the 38th minute of play. When Zé Paulo Pontes came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Zororo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo Pontes couldn't finish the play. After the first half Zororo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Roberto Lara made a kick off. If Luiz Paulo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tião Coutinho got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zé Paulo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dinei Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Tainhas SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Zororo's Zé Roberto Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Paulo Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romário Pimenta having to make a save. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zororo's goalkeeper Romário Pimenta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Paulo Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Romário Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Luiz Paulo Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romário Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luiz Paulo Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romário Pimenta having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Luiz Paulo Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tainhas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo de Salles struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Romário Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tainhas SC. Zororo's Romário Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Vale in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Tainhas SC's Luiz Paulo Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romário Pimenta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zororo's zone, Luiz Paulo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Pimenta came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Although Tainhas SC had been in control for most of the match, Zororo still came away with the win.
