Téo Leão scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmir Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tony Gonçalves to make the kick off. With his leg Kléberson Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Mosquitinho's Alfredinho Ortiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. João Maranhense hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kléberson Andrade made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Alfredinho Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. After 57 minutes, Miguel Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosquitinho and the Feia SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Miguel Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Schmidt hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Tony Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmir Romero was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After having played for 75 minutes, Túlio Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosquitinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Feia SC's goalkeeper Kléberson Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalberto Dantas. 86 minutes in the game, Alfredinho Ortiz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Alfredinho Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredinho Ortiz went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score.
