Léo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Gaúcho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho de Alcântara in the 10th minute of play forced FOTITAGAS's goalkeeper Pedrão Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayern de Joinville's Osvaldinho de Alcântara was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Léo Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Bayern de Joinville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Amaral couldn't finish the play. Osvaldinho de Alcântara in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedrão Gaúcho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Diego da Fonseca took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fabiano Goiano. Luís Fabiano Goiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Luís Fabiano Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Sergipano in the 24th minute of play. Léo Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Thomás Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas Coelho scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Fabiano Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Benjamim Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FOTITAGAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamim Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Thomás Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Luís Fabiano Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bayern de Joinville's Osvaldinho de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldinho de Alcântara to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Vargas in the 54th minute of play forced Bayern de Joinville's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Léo Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes in the game, Benjamim Sergipano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luís Fabiano Goiano having to interfere. In the 59th minute, FOTITAGAS's Thomás Vargas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Luís Fabiano Goiano was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Benjamim Sergipano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benjamim Sergipano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Diego da Fonseca hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Luís Fabiano Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Bayern de Joinville's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamim Sergipano. Bayern de Joinville's Luís Fabiano Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Sergipano in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of FOTITAGAS booed when Bayern de Joinville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bayern de Joinville's Luís Fabiano Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Vargas in the 88th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Osvaldinho de Alcântara made it 3-7 with a short kick to the right side. FOTITAGAS's Pedrão Gaúcho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enéas Coelho during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldinho de Alcântara in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Gaúcho saved FOTITAGAS from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FOTITAGAS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
