Szczepan Mentus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Messias in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Pedro Neiva hit a great ball. Jonas Amaral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mazinho Aparecido came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Amaral slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. After 24 played minutes S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Neiva. Szczepan Mentus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Messias in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, CHANCHILIS's Paulo José Messias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Szczepan Mentus was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38thth minute of the game Paulo José Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's Szczepan Mentus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Pedro Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Mentus having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, José Pedro Velloso notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's Szczepan Mentus. Szczepan Mentus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

José Pedro Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Szczepan Mentus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CHANCHILIS's Paulo José Messias was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 58th minute, Gernando Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of CHANCHILIS booed when S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Neiva hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Correia couldn't finish the play. Paulo José Messias didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-4 via right post in the game's 86th minute. CHANCHILIS's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Natanael Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CHANCHILIS's Natanael Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Neiva during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
