Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Bento's Enéas Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Doni Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Abreu having to interfere. Rômulo Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Délio Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rômulo Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Abreu having to interfere. The Ogp Santos fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Ogp Santos's Rômulo Rosado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Doni Falcão put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Délio Abreu. In the 24th minute, Rômulo Rosado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doni Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Bento got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Pernambucano. Ogp Santos's Willian Galvão couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bento. In the 42nd match minute, Ogp Santos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Délio Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Abreu having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rômulo Rosado made the kick off in the second half. Doni Falcão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Délio Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Bento's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Rômulo Rosado scored to the left of an out of position Délio Abreu, making the score, 0-3. Ogp Santos's Romário Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rômulo Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Délio Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo Rosado's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Rômulo Rosado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Délio Abreu 67 minutes into the match. The nice shot from Doni Falcão in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Délio Abreu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Enéas Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico de Queiroz having to interfere. Chico de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Castro in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Doni Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ogp Santos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doni Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes Bento got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Pernambucano. Doni Falcão had several of the Bento's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Délio Abreu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Délio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Rosado in the 92nd minute of play. Ogp Santos played a much better game than Bento and deserved their victory. The Bento players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
