A collision led to Imperadores getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Válbson Chaves hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Leonel de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brunno Filgs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel de Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonel de Toledo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Túlio Netto made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Marian Kochanowski sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Brunno Filgs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cebrail Demirdelen came free, but Túlio Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Álvaro Victor made a precise shot to the right of Túlio Netto. Brunno Filgs FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Imperadores getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Amauri Silva hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Leonel de Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adriano Secco skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Victor in the 27th minute of play forced Brunno Filgs FC's goalkeeper Túlio Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vágner Soeiro hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Belchior Peres struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Adriano Secco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brunno Filgs FC. After a defensive mix-up in Brunno Filgs FC's zone, Álvaro Victor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Netto came out of the goal and Álvaro Victor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Brunno Filgs FC's goalkeeper Túlio Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Kochanowski. 37 minutes into the game, Imperadores's Cebrail Demirdelen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Túlio Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Kochanowski went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marian Kochanowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Brunno Filgs FC's Túlio Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Victor in the 54th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Enéas Quirino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brunno Filgs FC and the Imperadores players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brunno Filgs FC! The referee gave Imperadores a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elano Abreu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brunno Filgs FC's Túlio Netto. 4-0. Túlio Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Álvaro Victor's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Túlio Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Teles in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Abel Miranda threw the ball into play from the sideline. Brunno Filgs FC's Elivélton Pereira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leonel de Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Adriano Secco made a huge save. Túlio Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Victor in the 71st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Imperadores defense, Belchior Peres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Secco. The Imperadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Secco should have stopped the shot. Belchior Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Secco having to interfere. Túlio Netto came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperadores's Álvaro Victor. But to his dismay, Álvaro Victor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Imperadores players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
