Narciso Brito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wiliam Marquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Narciso Brito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 5th match minute, Capiruapiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harri Hommik to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Capiruapiva's Wiliam Marquez got control of the ball when Vitório Jacinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Eduardo Araoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lagoinas SS's Cacá Brodel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Eduardo Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Araoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cacá Brodel was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Paulão Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Adrianinho Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the game, Aílton Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lagoinas SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capiruapiva the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lagoinas SS's Paulão Sabóia got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Eduardo Araoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lagoinas SS's Cacá Brodel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cacá Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Severo in the 30th minute of the match. Flávio Baptista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cacá Brodel. Lagoinas SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Eduardo Araoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lagoinas SS's Cacá Brodel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Adrianinho Severo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Capiruapiva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Severo couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Guga Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Araoz in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cacá Brodel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrianinho Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Brodel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Jacinto got free with Wiliam Marquez in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Vitório Jacinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wiliam Marquez. Vitório Jacinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Guga Cerezo made the kick off in the second half. Dito Dante hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Lagoinas SS:s Cacá Brodel showed great skill when he stopped Ricardinho Travassos:s penalty. Wiliam Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Gilmar Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Gustavo Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Capiruapiva's Eduardo Araoz got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Capiruapiva defense, Vitório Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wiliam Marquez. The Capiruapiva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wiliam Marquez should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lagoinas SS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Robinho França hit a great ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Eduardo Araoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capiruapiva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Araoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho França in the 95th minute of play forced Capiruapiva's goalkeeper Wiliam Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lagoinas SS were victorious despite being under pressure from Capiruapiva for much of the match.
