To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Célio Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Diniz was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Teodoro Batista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodoro Batista really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 88 played minutes, Meaipe's Davi Peres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Sá came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meaipe reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Jubiro's Giovani Gaúcho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Diniz. That made the score 0-5 after 91 minutes of play. Jubiro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
