Juvenal Tasso hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Fernandinho Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gildo Sarmento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. If Samuca Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jack Billys E.C! Luizão Prado struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gildo Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jack Billys E.C. With his leg Gildo Sarmento managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Jack Billys E.C's Luizão Prado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Aleandro Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Luizão Prado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Jack Billys E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizão Prado couldn't finish the play. Andrézinho Veloso took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Fernandes. Claudinho Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jack Billys E.C's Aleandro Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ramaiana getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. João Augusto Mello hit a great ball. In the 40th match minute, Jack Billys E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. When Claudinei Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ramaiana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Pernambucano couldn't finish the play. Doriva Barral's late challenge caught a Ramaiana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Barral helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Jack Billys E.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ramaiana:s goal. 48 minutes into the match, Mateus Rocha notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ramaiana's Gildo Sarmento. Gildo Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luizão Prado made the kick off in the second half. Ramaiana's Gildo Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Prado in the 55th minute of play. Claudinho Fernandes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anderson Mineiro. Luizão Prado took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildo Sarmento. Gildo Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Aleandro Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gildo Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Mello in the 68th minute of the match. Mateus Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gildo Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack Billys E.C made a substitution. Otávio Munhoz replaced Aleandro Catarinense. In the 75th minute, Mateus Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, Ramaiana's Claudinei Pernambucano made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinho Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Luizão Prado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jack Billys E.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Jack Billys E.C's Eusébio Velasco was substituted for Fernandinho Severo. In the 87th minute Andrézinho Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Otávio Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jack Billys E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Otávio Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildo Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reginaldo Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Sarmento having to interfere. Mateus Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Sarmento having to interfere. Claudinho Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Veloso in the 96th minute of the match.
