Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Aramary AD's Cesinha Fantini started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Herculanea defense, Cesinha Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Borges. The Herculanea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Borges should have stopped the shot. When Régis Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Herculanea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes Herculanea's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dedé Fernandes who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Faustão Gonçalves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Herculanea's Gernando Borges did a great save. Gernando Borges came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Aramary AD's Frank Sarmento. But to his dismay, Frank Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Erik Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Frank Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gernando Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aramary AD. When Aramary AD's Cesinha Fantini in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herculanea's goalie prevented a goal. Régis Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 33 minutes of play, Herculanea's Richard Marquez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osmar Rosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Aramary AD defense, Richard Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Rosa. The Aramary AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Rosa should have stopped the shot. Cesinha Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gernando Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aramary AD's Osmar Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Aramary AD from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Cesinha Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Richard Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osmar Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Régis Albuquerque to make the kick off. Gernando Borges made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Frank Sarmento sent off a good shot on target. When Herculanea's Régis Albuquerque in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmar Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Osmar Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Herculanea a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Célio Peres, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aramary AD's Osmar Rosa. 4-2. Gernando Borges made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Dedé Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Richard Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Rosa having to interfere. Frank Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Ronaldão Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Gernando Borges successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Richard Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Rosa having to interfere. Osmar Rosa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Herculanea's Régis Albuquerque shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-2 in the ordered_time% minute. If Richard Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99thth minute of the game Régis Albuquerque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aramary AD's Osmar Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Herculanea were the better team. Herculanea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
