Brasiliense DF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Félix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Brasiliense DF's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Netto came free, but Magno Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Brasiliense DF's Sidney Velasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Renato Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s Paulo Renato Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Galáticos Paulista S.C. from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s Paulo Renato Salles got control of the ball when Chico Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s Vágner Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Sidney Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Chico Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s Vágner Netto got a free kick in the 74th minute. Eurico Meirelles got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 77 played minutes Galáticos Paulista S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Meirelles. Chico Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s protests and gave Osvaldo Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. Osvaldo Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Brasiliense DF's Sidney Velasco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Renato Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sidney Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Salles having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Galáticos Paulista S.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brasiliense DF.
