Caririacu's Fellipe Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Brito in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Víktor Senna during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mateus Brito shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Almeida in the 12th minute of play forced Caririacu's goalkeeper Fellipe Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boquinha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Mateus Brito sped through Caririacu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fellipe Carioca. Fellipe Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Brito went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 45th play minutes Mateus Brito shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Fellipe Carioca and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateus Brito was the one to do the kick off. When Wellington Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Boquinha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Freitas couldn't finish the play. In the 54th match minute, Caririacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Digo Abreu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wellington Freitas got free with Fellipe Carioca in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateus Brito in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fellipe Carioca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th match minute, Caririacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Senna to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute of the match Dadá Vergílio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fellipe Carioca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 65 played minutes Caririacu got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Senna. In the 66th play minute Mateus Brito came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fellipe Carioca. 0-6. Boquinha SC's Mateus Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fellipe Carioca made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Gildo Almeida sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Mateus Brito could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Fellipe Carioca however easily saved by the left post. Mateus Brito hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Gustavo Linares fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boquinha SC's protests and gave Gustavo Linares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caririacu booed when Boquinha SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Caririacu's Murillo Gerber tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Mateus Brito sped through Caririacu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fellipe Carioca.
