In the 47th minute, Caipora EC's Vágner Lira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudinho Gaspar. Claudinho Gaspar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gláuber Varela made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Junqueira SC's zone, Gláuber Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Gaspar came out of the goal and Gláuber Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caipora EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dráusio Meireles was slow to take the kick. During this time Junqueira SC's players had a chance to rest. Dé Matorin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cauã Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Luís Fábio Dante made a huge save. Junqueira SC's Claudinho Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Varela in the 70th minute of play. If Cauã Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Gaspar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gláuber Varela went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Umberto de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Junqueira SC's Umberto de Sousa in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cauã Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Luís Fábio Dante made a huge save. Caipora EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Junqueira SC for a fine match.
