The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Power Hell Mz's Raí Britto got a free kick in the 4th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Paraíba made a kick off. Enio Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Veloso having to interfere. A collision led to Chibiu getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nestor de Azevedo hit a great ball. Chibiu's Faustão Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Paraíba in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Orlando Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Power Hell Mz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chibiu the free kick. Power Hell Mz's Tadeu de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Maciel in the 77th minute of play. When Manuel Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Power Hell Mz's protests and gave Manuel Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Roger Sá made a precise shot to the right of Tadeu de Queirós. Power Hell Mz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Basílio Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute.
