Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Siderurgico.FC's Carlos Albuquerque seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlos Albuquerque the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Siderurgico.FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Albuquerque had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Raca. Túlio Marinho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Coelho. 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Raca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Wojciech Gozdowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A collision led to Siderurgico.FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. André Pimenta hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Bruno Leite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Coelho. Bruno Leite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Adriano Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If José Paulo Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Siderurgico.FC's Juvenal Furtado got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raca's goalkeeper Reynaldo Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Paulo Baianos short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Felipe Coelho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Adriano Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, André Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siderurgico.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Pimenta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Siderurgico.FC's Basílio Luz was substituted for Gilberto Dante. Bruno Leite hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Pimenta in the 56th minute. Chiquinho Coelho hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Siderurgico.FC made a substitution. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Raca fully deserved thier win.
