After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Thomás Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cervinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomás Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, Cervinho FC's Wilian Donatello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The Cervinho FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Corocoro from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
