Zé Pedro Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elano Pinheiro made a kick off. Claudinei Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Rossi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Camarajibe's Elano Pinheiro got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Branco in the 71st minute of play forced Camarajibe's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Camarajibe's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquinho Toledo.
