Mamatos FC's Cláudio Vander was substituted for Kauã Paranaense. In the 7th match minute, Piaus AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. Célio Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Arias's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The attack was good, but when Fausto Arias in the 12th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Sidney Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. During the 15th minute of the match Matheus Jacinto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matheus Jacinto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Matheus Jacinto hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Célio Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Bebeto Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Piaus AD's zone, Fausto Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Lara came out of the goal and Fausto Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th match minute, Piaus AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Arias in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Lara saved Piaus AD from getting behind. Umberto Carvalho scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Célio Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Célio Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cléberson de Souza to make the kick off. Célio Lara made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Fausto Arias sent off a good shot on target. Célio Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléberson de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Piaus AD's Célio Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Piaus AD from getting a goal against them. If Umberto Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the game, Fausto Arias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Célio Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Arias succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Sidney Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Piaus AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mamatos FC:s goal. In the 91st minute, the referee gave Mamatos FC a penalty. Manfredo Mazza looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Célio Lara. Fausto Arias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Célio Lara made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Fausto Arias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Célio Lara, 1-5. The Mamatos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mamatos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
