In the 5th match minute, Timboteua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Moura to maneuver through the defense. Reserva's Dé de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson de Senna in the 9th minute of play. If Sakut Bağcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jailson de Senna hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, João Augusto Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timboteua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reserva the free kick. After a rather tough play, Timboteua's João Augusto Lago got a free kick in the 15th minute. Claudinho Tinoco took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dé de Azevedo. Dé de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Maia in the 23rd minute of play forced Reserva's goalkeeper Dé de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Bebeto Negri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dé de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timboteua's Hudson Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Mesquita in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Sakut Bağcıoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reserva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timboteua the free kick. After a rather tough play, Reserva's Sakut Bağcıoğlu got a free kick in the 37th minute. Dé de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Claudinho Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dé de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bebeto Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Timboteua were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakut Bağcıoğlu to make the kick off. Dé de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Lago in the 51st minute of the match. Hudson Barreto came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Reserva's Gino Mesquita. But to his dismay, Gino Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Fred Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Gino Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Barreto having to interfere. Hudson Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakut Bağcıoğlu in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Gino Mesquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reserva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Sakut Bağcıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Barreto having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Sakut Bağcıoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. In the 85th minute, Fred Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Reserva's Antônio Carlos Oliveira got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Reserva's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jailson de Senna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reserva fans cheered their team off the field, for while Timboteua had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
