Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Allan Duarte got the match started through his kick off. The Kojaqueira fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Kojaqueira's Sílvio Luiz Ferraz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Sílvio Luiz Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kojaqueira booed when Maristela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celsinho Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Martins went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Reynaldo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Brodel having to interfere. Zé Pedro Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Duarte in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Dário Monteiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celsinho Quintal. Dário Monteiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 43rd minute, Alberto da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maristela's Zé Pedro Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Ferraz in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Dário Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maristela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The wind increased when Alberto da Silva made the kick off in the second half. Marco Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Maristela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Martins to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Pedro Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Kojaqueira's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto da Silva came free, but Celsinho Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Kojaqueira's Valdemar Nascimento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Valdemar Nascimento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kojaqueira protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Valdemar Nascimento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Kojaqueira's Valdemar Nascimento got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kojaqueira's zone, Arlindo Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Quintal came out of the goal and Arlindo Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Allan Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Brodel having to interfere. Jacinto Cardozo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Cardozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Sílvio Luiz Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Allan Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Luiz Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Zé Pedro Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kojaqueira. In the 84th match minute, Maristela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Celsinho Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Martins in the 89th minute of play. Allan Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Sílvio Luiz Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Maristela were victorious despite being under pressure from Kojaqueira for much of the match.
