Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 10 minutes, Dino Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icebreaker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarbas Salgado had several of the Xapaporuci's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gustavo de Castro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edmundo Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Ramos in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Gildo Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edmundo Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jarbas Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Gustavo Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Xapaporuci's Gustavo de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Xapaporuci from getting a goal against them. Gustavo de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Salgado in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristóvão Gonçalves in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Gaspar saved Icebreaker from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Jarbas Salgado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo de Castro, 2-1. In the 41st match minute, Xapaporuci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Lago to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Xapaporuci's Gustavo de Castro got control of the ball when Dino Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Gustavo de Castro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Icebreaker getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Richard Donatello hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarbas Salgado to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jarbas Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gildo Ramos took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Gaspar. Edmundo Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 57th minute, Luís Gustavo Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gildo Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Richard Donatello hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Gildo Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Xapaporuci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gildo Ramos couldn't finish the play. Cristóvão Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Gaspar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Gonçalves got free with Edmundo Gaspar in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diguinho Favoretto's late challenge caught a Xapaporuci's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. 73 minutes into the match, Icebreaker's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Gonçalves came free, but Edmundo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jarbas Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Jarbas Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo de Castro was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 93 minutes into the game, Murillo Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Icebreaker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xapaporuci the free kick. A collision led to Icebreaker getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Murillo Penha hit a great ball. Icebreaker were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Xapaporuci to leave the ground with a draw.
