Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Augusto Moreno started the match with the kick off. Cido Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Maciel in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Ernesto Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Wiereck F.C.'s goalkeeper Cido Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Kléberson Novaes put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cido Mello. Maurinho Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Ernesto Loyola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cido Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 34 minutes, Jonas Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lapela EC and the Real Wiereck F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Real Wiereck F.C. booed when Lapela EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cido Mello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kléberson Novaes's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Dorival Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kléberson Novaes in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Felippe Paes fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Wiereck F.C.'s protests and gave Felippe Paes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Wiereck F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Felippe Paes hit a great ball. After the first half Lapela EC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléberson Novaes made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Real Wiereck F.C.'s zone, Kléberson Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Mello came out of the goal and Kléberson Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ernesto Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Kléberson Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Real Wiereck F.C.'s goalkeeper Cido Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Loyola. After 70 played minutes Lapela EC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Andrade. In the 72nd minute Kléberson Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cido Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléberson Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Loyola got free with Cido Mello in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Kléberson Novaes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lapela EC played a much better game than Real Wiereck F.C. and deserved their victory. The Real Wiereck F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
