Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sidney da Fonseca started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Curimatai SS's Leonel Perez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonel Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Raimundo Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Sidney da Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Severino Moraes, passed just outside the right post. Fernão Antunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernão Antunes ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Curimatai SS's Severino Moraes got control of the ball when Fernão Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernão Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Tróia having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Fernão Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Ines booed when Curimatai SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sydney Mota was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Raimundo Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Furtado in the 40th minute of the match. The wind increased when Vitinho Furtado made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernão Antunes in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernão Antunes couldn't finish the play.
