Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sidnei Massa started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Tarcisio Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Umberto Miranda skillfully saved the ball. Oscar Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Umberto Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto Miranda came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Inhuma's Oscar Marques. But to his dismay, Oscar Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Inhuma booed when Itamorotinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel da Cunha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Tarcisio Ribeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Umberto Miranda. Itamorotinga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oscar Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Miranda having to interfere. Oscar Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fernando Faria struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Umberto Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inhuma. 32 minutes into the game, André Luís Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itamorotinga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inhuma the free kick. In the 32nd minute, André Luís Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Marques took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto Miranda. Umberto Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Umberto Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Oscar Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inhuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute, Luís Fernando Faria made a precise shot to the right of Umberto Miranda. Itamorotinga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fernando Faria to make the kick off. Yan Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Itamorotinga booed when Inhuma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Itamorotinga's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Faria came free, but Umberto Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Oscar Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yan Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Faria in the 87th minute of the match. Oscar Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Itamorotinga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inhuma were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
