The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Róbson da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Aílton Leão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Messias skillfully saved the ball. In the 9th minute, Caio de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rafael Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juarês Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juarês Massa in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Caio de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Alcantara's Juarês Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Conrado Marinho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Haendel's Rafael Messias. Rafael Messias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Haendel booed when Alcantara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caio de Medeiros in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Caio de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haendel's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haendel's Rafael Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Haendel from getting a goal against them. Conrado Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Messias having to interfere. When Conrado Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcantara's protests and gave Conrado Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Conrado Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Haendel's Caio de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willian Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ernesto Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Caio de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
