Frédson Fontes came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jucurutu EC's Túlio Carioca. But to his dismay, Túlio Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Túlio Carioca made the kick off in the second half. Jucurutu EC's Túlio Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Gildo Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes, Wellington Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lembranca and the Jucurutu EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lembranca's Wellington Quintal got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 97 minutes of play, Jucurutu EC's Gildo Matos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frédson Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jucurutu EC had played much better football throughout.
