Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roberto Leite made the kick off which started today's match. If Emerson Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Crixas SS's goalkeeper Caco Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Arantes. Cipriano Arantes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caco Ferreira having to make a save. Cipriano Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Caco Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Loyola in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caco Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Paulo da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Luiz Paulo da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crixas SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute of the match, Hélder Loyola tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caco Ferreira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luiz Paulo da Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Siqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Luiz Paulo da Costa's late challenge caught a Pirara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Paulo da Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Crixas SS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Luiz Paulo da Costa hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Dinei Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crixas SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirara the free kick. In the 35th minute, Dinei Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adilson Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirara's protests and gave Adilson Vinhas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pirara getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Adilson Vinhas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Leite in the 43rd minute of play forced Pirara's goalkeeper Sílvio Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Caco Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caco Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pirara booed when Crixas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Arantes in the 54th minute of play forced Crixas SS's goalkeeper Caco Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Pirara got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Nogueira. After 68 played minutes Crixas SS got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo da Costa. After a defensive mix-up in Pirara's zone, Luiz Paulo da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Siqueira came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Crixas SS's Caco Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Loyola in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Luiz Fernando de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélder Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Caco Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pirara booed when Crixas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caco Ferreira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pirara's Hélder Loyola shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 88 minutes, Hélder Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirara and the Crixas SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Roberto Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pirara fans cheered their team off the field, for while Crixas SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
