Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amauri Borges took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flavinho Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Rômulo Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Vasconcelos having to interfere. Cléberson Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeu Ortiz went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Amauri Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denílson Vasconcelos was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Iauarete's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Flavinho Abraão 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Tadeu Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Cléberson Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sucessores AD. Bebeto Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Tadeu Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Amauri Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Iauarete's Cléberson Furtado got control of the ball when Tadeu Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Ortiz got free with Cléberson Furtado in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavinho Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavinho Abraão to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Iauarete's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Ortiz came free, but Cléberson Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Flavinho Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavinho Abraão in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cléberson Furtado saved Iauarete from getting behind. Sucessores AD's Tadeu Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lauro Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauro Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Lauro Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavinho Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iauarete's Cléberson Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Ortiz in the 74th minute of play. When Tadeu Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Sucessores AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Ortiz couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Flavinho Abraão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cléberson Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Sucessores AD getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Luís Fábio Damião hit a great ball. Denílson Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rômulo Mattos sent off a good shot on target.
