Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nelsinho Antunes took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Quatis's Maurício Faustino got control of the ball when Tostão Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Catrinense FC's Tadeu Proença got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arthur Carvalho, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Quatis's Jorge Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Geovani Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rossi in the 33rd minute of play forced Catrinense FC's goalkeeper Geovani Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Tostão Santana notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Quatis's Maurício Faustino. Maurício Faustino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quatis's goalkeeper Maurício Faustino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th match minute, Quatis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal de Castro to maneuver through the defense. After 49 minutes of play, Catrinense FC's Nelsinho Antunes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Faustino was left in no man's land by his defense there!

55 minutes into the match, Catrinense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Vander came free, but Geovani Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Jorge Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Rossi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Quatis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Quatis booed when Catrinense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovani Oliveira came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quatis's Allan Magalhães. But to his dismay, Allan Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Santana in the 70th minute of play forced Quatis's goalkeeper Maurício Faustino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Hermínio da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quatis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catrinense FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quatis's Hermínio da Fonseca got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Jorge Rossi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geovani Oliveira. The goal made the score 3-3. Jorge Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovani Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quatis. Allan Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Geovani Oliveira made a huge save.
