Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Angelo Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Alves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Vidal couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in League of Legends's zone, Ademir Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizão Custódio came out of the goal and Ademir Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ademir Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Luizão Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Angelo Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eurico Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eurico Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Eurico Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alves booed when League of Legends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizão Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Abreu in the 21st minute of play. Angelo Vidal struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Luizão Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alves. When Silas de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alves's protests and gave Silas de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alves! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Alves:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of League of Legends:s goal. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for League of Legends. Victor Sousa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Luiz Vasconcelos. 0-2. Luizão Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Abreu in the 40th minute of the match. Angelo Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, League of Legends's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Abreu came free, but Luizão Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magno de Amaral to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Angelo Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademir Abreu in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizão Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the game, Ademir Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Luizão Custódio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Alves's Angelo Vidal in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind League of Legends's goalkeeper Luizão Custódio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luizão Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Vidal in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Alves players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
