Laranjo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fellipe Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rony Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Laranjo FC's zone, Sílvio Luís Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Antunes came out of the goal and Sílvio Luís Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Jefferson Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timonha EC's Rony Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rony Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jefferson Félix's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Elói Zonta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laranjo FC and the Timonha EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Timonha EC booed when Laranjo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rony Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fellipe Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rony Vidal having to make a save. The Laranjo FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Laranjo FC's Jefferson Félix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jefferson Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timonha EC's Rony Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Timonha EC's Rony Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Baptista in the 35th minute of play. Emerson Baptista took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rony Vidal. Rony Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Jefferson Félix sped through Timonha EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rony Vidal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sílvio Luís Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Timonha EC's goalkeeper Rony Vidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Félix. Jefferson Félix did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Rony Vidal 56 minutes into the match. Rony Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Natã Silveira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rony Vidal, 0-6. With his leg Rony Vidal managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Laranjo FC's Jefferson Félix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dalmacio Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Vidal having to interfere. A collision led to Laranjo FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Natã Silveira hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Timonha EC got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Nóbrega. Jefferson Félix in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rony Vidal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Natã Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Laranjo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Silveira couldn't finish the play. Leandro Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Vidal having to interfere. If Nestor Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Ernesto Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Timonha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Félix came free, but Rony Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laranjo FC played a much better game than Timonha EC and deserved their victory. The Timonha EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
